What Makes Ree Different

Every dog is unique and every session is shaped around your dog’s comfort, personality and needs.

I take the time to understand your dog before we even begin. I notice their stress signals, their excitement, their pace and their comfort zones. This means your dog is never pushed, rushed or asked to do anything that feels scary or too much.

I have professional training in pet photography and studies in animal behaviour which helps me create an environment where your dog can relax and just be themselves. Whether they are shy, anxious, excitable or a little unsure, I work gently and calmly to help them settle.

I am also a dog mum myself. I understand how emotional these photos are and how important it is to feel that your dog is safe, supported and truly seen.

Sessions

Your session is calm, pet led and completely tailored to your dog.

If your dog needs time to sniff and warm up, we slow down and let them settle. If they want to stay close to you at the start, that is okay. If they are full of beans and excited by everything around them, we go with it and use that energy to create joyful images.
I follow your dog’s pace, not the clock. My goal is to capture the genuine connection you share, the tiny expressions and the moments that matter. When your dog feels safe, their personality shines through and the photos feel real, heartfelt and full of life.

Hour Session

195 session fee
Artwork and digital files purchased separately
This session is perfect for dogs who need time to relax, explore or settle into a new place. It allows space for breaks, play, cuddles and a variety of locations or moods. Ideal for anxious dogs, energetic dogs, or anyone wanting a wide selection of images and moments.
Includes
Morning light at 7.30am or afternoon golden hour at 5.30pm
Saturday or Sunday availability
A pre shoot chat so I can understand your dog
An in person viewing to choose your favourite images
Please note that the session fee covers your photography time only. Images and artwork are purchased after your session.
Thirty Minute Session

145 session fee
Artwork and digital files purchased separately
Short, sweet and relaxed.
This is lovely for happy go lucky dogs who settle easily, senior pets who tire quickly or tiny puppies with limited attention spans. You will still get meaningful images without overwhelming your dog.

Morning 7.30am or afternoon 5.30pm

Home and Heart sessions take place in the comfort of your home where your pet feels safe, understood and relaxed. These sessions are especially beautiful for shy, anxious or senior dogs and for anyone who loves the idea of cosy, personal images that show the bond your pet has within your home.
We can use soft window light, your comfy indoor spaces or even step outside into your backyard for a few natural portraits. The session flows in whatever way feels most comfortable for your pet.
Includes
Morning 10.00am or afternoon 4.00pm
A pre shoot chat so I can plan the session around your home and your dog
Use of natural or indoor lighting
Option to include backyard images

1. Book Your Session

Everything starts with a click! Once you hit “Book My Session,” I’ll get in touch to organise all the details.
You’ll receive:
A short form to tell me all about your pet
A quick call to plan the perfect session
Help choosing your session type, time, and location
This step makes sure everything runs smoothly and your pet is set up for success.
2. Your Photoshoot Day

We’ll meet at your chosen location — whether it's your backyard, local park, or even inside your home.
Each session is:
Relaxed and pet-led — we move at your pet’s pace
Flexible — we take breaks when needed
About capturing genuine moments, not just poses
You're welcome to be in the photos too (if you'd like!) — fur, paws, and people are all part of the story.
3. Choosing Your Images

After your shoot, I carefully go through each photo and edit the very best ones.
Within 1–2 weeks, you’ll:
Be invited to an in-person viewing session
See a curated gallery of professionally edited images
Choose what you love — whether it’s wall art, prints, or digital images
There’s no pressure — you only buy what you truly love.

Hi, I am Ree and I photograph dogs because I understand how deeply they shape our lives. They are our comfort, our joy and our constant source of love. They carry us through hard moments and celebrate all the good ones with us.
I know the feeling of wanting to hold on to everything. The way they look at you. The way their ears perk up. The softness in their eyes. The memories you never want to forget.
My approach is gentle, patient and always built around your dog. I take the time to understand who they are and what makes them feel safe. Whether your dog is nervous, energetic, reactive or completely relaxed, I work with their natural personality so the photos feel authentic and full of soul.
